Laundry is an area of my life that I’m looking to improve. I was previously using conventional laundry products, which contained lots of plastic. Although these products worked well for me, I knew that I could do better.
When Earth Breeze * contacted me to see if I wanted to try out their eco sheets, I was very excited. The idea of reducing plastic and saving space really appealed to me.
So, here’s my honest, in-depth review of the laundry sheets from Earth Breeze.
How Do You Use These Laundry Sheets?

Using these eco sheets couldn’t be any easier. Each packet contains 30 sheets. One full sheet is best for 3/4 to a full load of washing, and it’s what I use every time. For a half load, you can cut the sheet in half. And for very soiled clothing, you can use 2 sheets, but I haven’t reached that point yet.
You simply take your desired amount and put it in the detergent drawer along with your fabric conditioner (if you use it). And that’s literally it. Very simple to use and mess free.
What I Liked About Earth Breeze Laundry Sheets

They Use Minimal Packaging
They get a big tick from me because they’re plastic free. But they get an even bigger tick for keeping packaging minimal. This not only saves space in the cupboards but it reduces the amount of resources that are needed. And when I’m done with them, I can just pop this little bit of cardboard in the recycling.
They Work Well In Cold Washes
I wash most of my clothes at 30°C, so it’s important that I find a product that works well at lower temperatures. These eco laundry sheets can be used for cold washes and hot washes, making them very versatile. I was a little bit dubious at first, but I didn’t have anything to worry about. There was no residue left on my clothes – they really do work!
They Clean Well
I should start off by saying that I haven’t tried out these sheets with heavily soiled clothing. However, they work really well with standard washing cycles, towels, bedding etc. Earth Breeze recommends that for stained clothing, you tear off a small piece of an eco sheet and let it sit on the stain for a while, before putting it into your washing machine. That’s definitely worth trying!
Earth Breeze Donate To Charity
A great thing about Earth Breeze is that for every pack of laundry sheets that are purchased, they donate 10 packs to those in need. This includes non profits and charitable organisations such as homeless shelters, animal shelters and developing countries. Laundry detergent is needed for hygiene, cleanliness and self-esteem, so it’s fantastic to know that Earth Breeze are making a huge difference to so many people’s lives.
What Could Be Improved
Even though I really enjoy using these laundry sheets from Earth Breeze, it wouldn’t be an honest review if I didn’t mention a couple of the drawbacks.
It’s Not An All Natural Product
There’s no list of ingredients on the back of these laundry sheets, but you can find a list of the ingredients on the Earth Breeze website. However, some people have questioned how natural some of these ingredients are. From Polyethylene Glycol to “fragrance” to Alcohol Ethoxylate, it’s clear that this product isn’t all natural. This could be a big deal-breaker to some consumers, but I understand that creating an all natural cleaning product that works is probably very difficult. I like that they don’t use animal derived ingredients and minimise their use of toxic ingredients. But still, I think they should include a full list of their ingredients on the packaging and on the purchase page.
Scented Sheets Have Little Scent
I expected the fragrance free laundry sheets to have no scent, but I didn’t expect the scented sheets to have little scent, either. I expect the reason why the scented sheets don’t have a strong scent is because they contain natural fragrance. However, I can’t be sure about that. What I will say is that my laundry didn’t smell at all. It smelt fresh and it felt clean, but it lacked the strong fragrance that I’m used to.
Final Thoughts On Earth Breeze Laundry Sheets
All in all, I really love using these sheets and I’m sure I will continue to use them. There are possibly a couple areas of improvement, but that could be said for most companies. Would I recommend them? Yes! Anyone who is trying to live more sustainably and give back to those in need could benefit from using these laundry sheets.

Lisa's Notebook
I’ve never tried laundry sheets but I love how little room they take up and also how effective they seem to be – might have to give them a go, although we do have quite a lot of soiled laundry due to rugby and horse riding!

It;s great you checked out the website and the information they list there; being transparent about sustainability is vital if the consumer is to build trust with a brand/product (one of my most recent posts was about how to ensure the eco-friendly stuff we buy is legit). The review was really useful — thanks so much for sharing!
